CIRRUS IS NOT LOOKING FOR THE CORONATION CUP

The King George VI And Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot in July, the Juddmonte International at York in August and the Champion Stakes at Ascot in the autumn are the main targets for the globe-trotting French-trained seven-year-old.
Corine Barande-Barbe is building her stable star back up to strength steadily after he sustained a ligament problem when being prepared for the Hong Kong Cup in December.
She has given him an entry in the Investec Coronation Cup at Epsom in early June but will wait to see how he is next month before making a decision.
"I don't know yet if he will run in the Coronation Cup. I had to enter him two months before the race and I want to keep choices open," said Barande-Barbe.
"There are other opportunities and the horse will tell me and I will decide in May. The thing is last year in Hong Kong he hurt himself and I want to give him plenty of time to recover.
"My main plan is to try to run in the King George and maybe in the International and in the Champion Stakes. The way to go there is up to the horse. I don't know if the Coronation Cup would be his first race (of the season).
"He is in good form, very fresh. I don't want him to go back to hard work too fast. The main challenge with him is to keep him going quietly and steadily."
